Biography

Sarah Martin is a multimedia craft artist based in ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ, Kentucky. She received her BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001, and her MFA in Woodworking from the Program in Artisanry at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth in 2005. Since 2014, she has been heading the Woodworking area at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University, where she is an associate professor. Her practice combines woodworking, small metals, fibers, and sculpture, and she has been included in exhibits throughout the United States and abroad. She has participated in residencies at the Penland School of Craft and San Diego State University, and regularly teaches workshops at craft schools around the country.
